Hello, I am Krishna T. A. Ruffin and I know exactly what that feels like. At my very core resides the deep passion to pray for others. Not just a whispered "Lord, bless them," or "Father, give them peace." I mean the type of prayer that sometimes causes tears to escape my eyes, and maybe means I'll miss a meal or two. 

While praying for others, or interceding is not a struggle for me now, it wasn't always that way. My prayers were once as described above, just a few mumbled words (or thoughts), like a small mention, coupled with the hopes that God would both hear and honor. In my heart, though, I knew it wasn't the type of prayer that could be called effectual, nor did I have the faith that it would avail much...  if anything.
